St Mary's College Cancer Support Group was established in 2000. The inspiration was a 4 year old boy called David who was diagnosed with Leukemia. Over the last eleven years the group has raised almost €50,000 and is still going strong. The beneficiaries include the North Louth Hospice and Homecare Foundation, The Gary Kelly Centre, Drogheda and Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin.
