"Halo
Halo to Mooncake" is an ICT project from the Asia Europe Classroom
(AEC). Students responded to different national festivals as they occured
and the project outcomes were posted to each school's website.
The participating countries are: Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, China, Singapore, Germany and Ireland. Two Irish schools are involved: Sligo Grammar School and St. Mary's College, Dundalk. The Transition year students in Sligo Grammar School studied four festivals, Halloween, St. Stephen's day, St. Patrick's Day and Bealtaine. The Transition year students in St. Mary's College studied the other four - Christmas, St. Bridgid's Day, Easter and St. John's Eve.
