This year we are aiming to improve our fitness.
So far this year our TY class has taken part in many fitness
exercises. We undertook a circut training programme designed
to improve our overall fitness. This involved doing many
different
exercises for short periods - such as press-ups, sit-ups,
star jumps, shuttleruns and light weights. We did this on
a Tuesday afternoon for three weeks and everyone enjoyed
it immensely.
We have recently started sessions of Tai Bo,
another exercise programme which combines elements of kick-boxing
with aerobics. We hope that it will help our fitness. It is
not like a traditional chinese martial art, as we thought,
but more like just punching, kicking and jumping to dance
music.
